Welcome

Salvation By Grace Through Faith

Welcome to Heritage Trail Bible Church, a grace-oriented, Bible-teaching, non-denominational church.  We believe the Bible is God's Word and contains the message of salvation through the gospel of Jesus Christ.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8,9)

"Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path." (Psalm 119:105)

“All Scripture is God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness; that the man of God might be mature, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” (2 Tim. 3:16-17)

“Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2 Tim. 2:15)

"Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage forever; for they are the rejoicing of my heart." Psalms 119:111

Mrs. Erb

Lydia Erb, our missionary to children, went to be with the Lord on March 1, 2011. She was born on June 8, 1917 in Arpin, Wisconsin. Mrs. Erb shared the Gospel with thousands of children in Bible Schools, Bible Camps, Sunday School and Released Time Classes. Her message focused on Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins, according to the Scriptures and that He was buried: and that He rose again the third day...(I Cor. 15:3-4) For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasing life. (John 3:16).

Mrs. Erb taught her 66th year of Bible School in 2010 and remained active in the ministry of Heritage Trail Bible Church as a Bible teacher for children until her death. She had been a member of Heritage Trail since 1974. Because of her love for her Savior and the Scriptures, countless lives were influenced for Jesus Christ. Many children remember her "Charlie" stories and Thought for the Day such as "Believing Christ died, that's history--Believing Christ died for me, that's salvation.

Her Memorial Service was held on March 7, 2011. Her life could be summed up with Paul's words in Philippians 1:21: For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain!
